 The City Council meets the second Monday of each month, with work sessions on the last Monday of the month. Meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. The public is welcome at all meetings. To be placed on the agenda, please contact the City Clerk no later than the Wednesday prior to a meeting. Minutes of the regular meetings are posted on a bulletin board at City Hall. The agenda for the next regular meeting is posted no later than Wednesday before the meeting.

 The city provides water, sewer and garbage services to its residents and businesses. Forms are available at City Hall to sign up for utility services. Meters are read the third week of each month, with bills mailed by the end of each month, and payable no later than the 15th of the following month. Garbage pickup is each Thursday for residents and businesses, and both Monday and Thursday for restaurants.

 New businesses within the city must complete a business registration form and pay an occupational tax. The amount of the tax will be determined from the information on the registration and the rate then in effect. Forms may be obtained at City Hall. Renewal occupational taxes are payable annually, and are due on January 1st of each year.
